Teen Challenge, based at Phoenix, Arizona, has been fighting against the problems of alcohol and drug abuse since 1965. It lays emphasis on providing youth, adults and families, faith-based programs for solving alcohol and drug problems. It applies Biblical principles to help individuals achieve physical wellness, and become spiritually alive, mentally sound, socially adjusted, and emotionally balanced. Teen ChallengeÕs 13-month residential program includes devotions, work projects, discipleship training, Bible reading, chapel services, and recreational activities. Upon discharge, students can avail the educational and ministry opportunities in local colleges and churches. Teen Challenge runs exclusive clinics for males who are 18 years and above, women with kids, and females who are in the age group of 13 to 17 years.
