Dr. Chris Spence, Clinic Director, received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego, and his doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Suzanne Spence (on extended mommy leave) received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of New Hampshire and her doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Spence has served on the Board of Directors for the San Diego County Chapter of the California Chiropractic Association for 6 years. He was also the President of the San Diego County Chiropractic District.
Dr. Spence was honored 2-times with the prestigious “Doctor of the Year” Award from his peers of the California Chiropractic Association. He has 200 hours in postgraduate chiropractic rehabilitation studies and is a board eligible Certified Chiropractic Rehabilitation Doctor.
Dr Charles Plante, DC, joined Spence Chiropractic after 15 plus years of private practice in Minnesota. His active and healthy chiropractic lifestyle along with his desire of being part of a superior chiropractic team, brought him to our facility in San Diego. He is board certified, an active member of the California Chiropractic Association and an expert in a chiropractic treatment techniques.

The doctors have extensive additional postgraduate studies that include Neurology, Whiplash, Myofascial, Biophysics, and Worker’s Compensation. This includes advanced certification in: Accident Reconstruction, Whiplash and Spinal Trauma, Advanced Personal Injury, Whiplash and Automobile Traumatology, Biomechanical Analysis of Low Speed Impacts, and Low Speed Rear Impact Crash Reconstruction.
